  • Women in Leadership


    Participants will learn techniques and practical ideas which women can apply immediately to their career and that can help eliminate performance hurdles. You will learn applicable skills for an immediate impact on your career and your organization.

  • Finance for Non-financial Executives


    The program allows for nonfinancial executives  to deepen their expertise of finance and accounting for better management and decision-making capabilities. The program includes topics such as the role of accounting, key concepts of managerial and financial accounting, ratio calculation, and analysis of your company and shareholder value management as well as corporate financial analysis. The importance of each number for your business will be discusses and you will be able to tell how your business is doing based on the figures, assessing strengths and areas for improvements.

  • Start Your Social Enterprise


    The program provides participants with an intensive, “hands-on” course focusing on the creation, evaluation, development, and launch readiness of new social enterprises. For each new venture, key issues are addressed in a fashion highly consistent with other formal venture planning processes including: business model development, customer discovery, product-market validation, in-depth industry and market analysis, product or service innovation, brand development and go-to-market strategies, team selection & management, profit models, financing, and legal considerations.

  • Entrepreneurial Leadership


    From an entrepreneurial leadership perspective, the program explores the importance of self-awareness as the foundation for building integral cognitive and behavioral skills and traits for innovation and culture change. Design-thinking methods are introduced to demonstrate how specific entrepreneurial & leadership behaviors and practices enhance one’s contribution to problem identification, solution generation, customer engagement, and early solution design; participants will identify an organizational problem to work on and apply lessons. They also gain an understanding of the role attention and attentional bias has on one’s openness to alternate solutions, the impact of cognitive bias on judgment and decision-making, and the capacity to attend to emotional states in others.

    Today, every business is partly a digital business. In every industry, traditional business models and processes are being transformed by the spread of new disruptive digital technologies. So in order to thrive, leaders must be able to think strategically and utilize digital change to create new opportunities for their business.

Throughout the programme their venture’s hypothesized business model based on instructor, peer, customer, and local investor feedback.

  • Digital Marketing


    The rise of digital technologies has transformed the marketing paradigm. Marketers today face a constant proliferation of social media channels, the growing power of the connected customer, and an explosion of new digital tools. To succeed, marketers must be able to plan, implement, and measure the impact of digital strategies that are in line with their organizational goals. The program focuses on how marketers can reach digitally savvy audiences, build deep customer relationships, and influence the digital path to purchase. Case studies will illustrate best practices.
     
  • Startup Finance


    The program provides participants with an intensive, “hands-on” course focusing on the basics of creating integrated financial projections and statements for new startups. Participants learn all steps required to build profit and loss statements, cash flow and breakeven analysis, capital requirements, balance sheets, and start up metrics for performance measurement and monitoring. Sources of funding for new ventures are explored with a focus on early stage requirements.
     
  • UAE-NYC Entrepreneurship Program


    The program runs for 2 weeks and is split between  the UAE and at Columbia Business School. Participants acquire technical knowledge and skills in venture creation, industry and market dynamics, strategy formation, product development, leadership, operations, and finance. Participants also increase research, project management, communication, and team skills. Course content & readings customized to take into account regional cultures, business practices, market trends, and currencies. The content is similar to the entrepreneurship program and on successful completion, participants leave the course with a functioning business model they can use to launch their ventures.
